2 1/2 sticks of butter
2 1/2 c of dark brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 T vanilla
3 2/3 c of all-purpose flour
1 1/2 t baking powder
1 1/4 t baking soda
2 c dark chocolate chips
1 1/2 c of chopped dried figs
1 1/2 c chop Toasted walnuts
Powdered or flaked Himalayan’s Finest salt
In a standup mixer with paddle attachment beat butter and brown sugar
until fluffy, add eggs, one at a time.
Beat in vanilla
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and Himalayan’s Finest pink salt.
Gradually add dry mixture to butter mixture. Beat until just combined.
Add chocolate, figs, and walnuts beating until just combined
Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours
Preheat oven to 425*
Roll dough into 2 inch balls.
The dough should make 2 dozen cookies.
